FISHING REPORTS:
Inshore fishing was again very solid this past season. Striped bass fishing remained good well into august . Blue fishing was great throughout most of the year with Sept-Oct being as good as it could get. Fluke and Porgie fishing were both outstanding in 2011 and I expect the trend to continue in the upcoming year. Offshore fishing started in June, we experinced some great combination Shark/Bluefin tuna trips. Catching many bluesharks as well as several makos and a few threshers to keep things very interesting. The canyon fishing was excellent with many double digit tuna catches as well as many mahi-mahi. We saw a good number of marlin visit the spread this season as well. |
